I believe reason 2. He doesn't subscribe to gender stereotypes in our relationship, had me rethink about how much it gave light to how honest these "gender roles" still play a big part of this society. Although, it may not be the 1950's, these "roles" are still present and as a young woman in today's world I don't have to be married to recognize that. While reading this article, it highlighted many important aspects of a healthy relationship and what possibly could be lacking in yours. For one, having serious discussions is vital to keeping a relationship alive and honest, without such good opinionated talks with your partner versus bad, can lead to a happier life or open simply Pandora's box.
